Among other things, a typesetter and graphic designer based in Chicago.

reflects my work over the past seven years.

MY CLIENTS
are primarily book publishers, nonprofits, and artists, though I am open to any kind of print or online work.

EXPERIENCE
In addition to working small jobs on non-budgets for artists I know, I bring to my work seven years of production and design experience at the professional level. I have typeset books and journals, developed promotional materials, and my ads have appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, LA Weekly, Publishers Weekly, Booklist, Jazztimes, and Granta. I can bid your job to printers and handle relationships with other designers and production houses.

WORKSTATION
I am well-versed in Quark XPress, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver on both platforms. I can also provide electronic proofing via PDF and FTP, so your location is not a problem.

EDUCATION
I graduated with a BS (1998) in Journalism from Northwestern University, where my course interests included literature, writing and editing, and print production.
